Released in 1985, So Red The Rose is the sole studio album from Arcadia, the side project formed by Duran Duran members Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, and Roger Taylor during the band’s mid-’80s hiatus. Often described by fans as “the best Duran Duran album that isn’t a Duran Duran album,” this lush, art-rock outing blends moody atmospherics, layered synthesizers, and sophisticated pop songwriting. The record features standout singles like “Election Day,” “Goodbye Is Forever,” and “The Flame,” alongside deep cuts that shimmer with experimental production and cinematic flair. Guest appearances from musical heavyweights—including Grace Jones, Sting, David Gilmour, and Herbie Hancock. This is a used LP in VG/VG condition.
